NYLF Explore STEM AlumnusAbout National Youth Leadership Forum: Explore STEM Alumni

One Giant Leap for STEM Exploration

The NYLF Explore STEM Alumni program was developed specifically for students who previously attended the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Explore STEM. The program provides these students with the opportunity to build upon their previous Envision experience and further fuel their passion for a future career in STEM.

At NYLF Explore STEM Alumni, students learn by doing as they take part in a challenging hands-on simulation, three unique and exclusive immersion experiences, and Maker Centers that allow them to prototype their ideas and showcase their creativity.

The theme for NYLF Explore STEM Alumni is "Exploring the Red Planet." The students will turn their focus from preparing for a "Mission to Mars" to solving one of interplanetary travel's greatest challenges: sustaining a long-term human presence outside of Earth's atmosphere.

Few fields are more important to the future of humanity than STEM and few show as much promise for future careers. During the program, students will gain exposure to additional STEM opportunities and further develop essential success skills while reconnecting with old friends and forming new bonds with fellow Envision alumni.
