Ideate. Innovate. Demonstrate.
NYLF Engineering & Technology is a fantastic foray into the world of engineering and technology and the many careers available in these dynamic fields.
During this eight-day program, you will learn why the core principles of engineering and problem solving are critical to innovation and success in the 21st century and receive invaluable information from industry experts about the multitude of engineering and technology career options to help you make informed choices about your future.
Through Maker Centers, you will have the unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to the Aerospace, Biomedical, Civil, and Mechanical engineering fields, as well as a more in-depth experience with the top two fields of your choice. During the program-long Capstone Impact Challenge, which was designed in collaboration with a team lead by Dr. David Dinehart, a Professor and Former Chairman of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Villanova University, you will apply your engineering skills and creativity to help solve real-world problems.
At NYLF Engineering & Technology, you will not only gain hands-on experience and enjoy life on the campus of a top-ranked engineering school, but you will also be surrounded by other highly motivated students who share your passion. You will form lifelong friendships while strengthening the time management, information analysis, public speaking, critical thinking, and problem solving skills that are critical for success in college and beyond.
Most importantly, you will leave the program with a clearer vision of your future career path and how to achieve your goals.
