I will never forget the dissection process! It was gross, but very interesting. I also enjoyed many of the hands-on activities, such as the marshmallow building contest. It is amazing what kids could create in a short period of time with limited resources.
I try to participate in any STEM opportunities whenever they are offered. My family also volunteers in the community as much as possible. For example, we have participated in several beach clean-ups and helped packed food for less-fortunate people in Haiti.
I have read many books about young people who face problems but overcome them from Malala to Bethany Hamilton. They give me hope for the future!

I think it is worth trying an Envision program. It is great to meet new students from different schools. You learn so much, and it feels more like camp than school!
