• What is the most memorable moment of your program experience?

  Visiting Pro EMS in Cambridge, MA. We were able to learn many things that most students interested in medicine wouldn't know, including how to perform CPR, how to intubate, and how to insert an IV.

  
  

• What inspires you as a young leader?

  What inspires me, is that I know that once I get a job in the medical field, I will be able to help many people.

• How was attending the program different than learning in a traditional classroom?

  It was all hands-on. One of my favorite lessons was learning how to take blood pressure, and how to suture.

  
  
• How has your program experience helped you focus on a career path?

  When I went into the program I had no idea what area of nursing I would want to pursue. After leaving the program, I knew that I want to be an emergency room nurse.

• What do you intend on studying in college?

  Next year when I start college, I will be studying Nursing.

• What do you intend on studying in college?

  The program has shown me that I really do want to pursue a career in the medical world.

  
  
• What would you tell other students who are interested in attending an Envision program?

  Attend the program even if you aren't sure a career in medicine is for you. The program can really open your eyes to the different types of jobs that are available in the medical world. By the end of the program you could change your mind on how you want to spend the rest of your life!
