Explore America’s history in the place where it all happened! Go beyond the classroom walls and computer screens and join like-minded students from across the county to experience our country’s past and present and be inspired to play a role in its future.

From witnessing firsthand our great traditions to touring the memorials that pay tribute to fallen heroes to walking in the footsteps of our leaders both past and present, you’ll make memories and forge lasting friendships. You’ll also stretch what you think is possible, see the world—and yourself—in new ways, and have the time of your life!

Capitol Hill

Explore the underground tunnel where lawmakers meet, take in the miles of books at the Library of Congress, and ascend the steps of the highest court in the land, the U.S. Supreme Court.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

Experience the memorial dedicated to the nation’s most famous civil rights activist who preached tolerance regardless of race, belief, or class. Become inspired by his powerful writings that nurtured love across a nation.

Jamestown Settlement

Climb aboard replicas of the ships—Susan Constant, Godspeed, and Discovery—that sailed from England to Virginia. See how 17th century colonists lived in a recreated fort and learn what life was like in a Powhatan Indian Village.

Arlington National Cemetery

Honor the nearly 300,000 brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country. Take part in one of four country’s greatest traditions with the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Free Academic Credit Included

Through WorldStrides accreditation, we’re able to offer students free elective high school credit for traveling with us. Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students have access to our online learning management system. Students can select from a variety of courses specific to their trip itinerary and can then complete the coursework up to 6 months after travel. They earn free high school credit which gives them a competitive advantage on college applications, distinguishes them as online learners, and gives them a jump start on their path to a successful completion of higher education.
