Junior National Young Leaders Program for Elementary and Middle School Students
Families interested in experiencing the nation’s capital while their child is at JrNYLC have the opportunity to enroll in our Family Program.

This program is available for select sessions and allows attendees to meet and make friends with other families from across the country while discovering the rich history of Washington, D.C. Attendees are shown the city by a licensed DC tour guide, visit the most popular and well-known D.C. attractions, and enjoy Anthony Robles’ inspirational keynote speech.
Summer High School Aerospace and Aviation Program Students

The cost of the Family Program is $795 for each attendee and includes site visits and transportation during provided guided events, lunch and dinner on select days, lectures, curriculum and materials. Housing and transportation to and from the airport is not included.***

Space for the Family Program is limited and only available for the following dates:

June 19-June 23 | June 26-June 30 | July 10-July 14 | July 17-July 21

Once enrolled in the program we will reach out to families at a later date to collect information on who will be attending the JrNYLC Family Program. **

Please be aware that this program is separate from your child’s program, and you will be spending time with other families of scholars and not the students themselves.

Tour Guide
A Washington, DC expert will be your guide while you explore the wonders of this historic city.

Keynote Speaker
Hear from our inspirational speaker Anthony Robles about how scholars can hone their leadership skills in their communities back home and prepare for career and college readiness.

Monuments and Memorials
The Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and World War II Memorial are just a few of the historical landmarks you will see as you dive into the history of the nation’s capital.

You will have guided tours of select Smithsonian Institute Museums as well as access to reserved tickets at museums such as the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Local DC Attractions
Spend time getting to see historic sites such as the National Cathedral, the Ford’s Theater and Library of Congress.
