        Why it matters

A win for them. A win for you.

You do so much to help them grow during the year; pass the torch to us this summer and watch them soar.

        What your student gains

They'll leave home, meet people they've never met, and figure out what they're capable of without you or their parents in the room. They'll come back different: steadier, more curious, ready to lead and thrive.

        What this means for you

It takes two minutes. No cost to you, no obligation for your student's family. And it's the fastest way back to the reason you started teaching: spotting a kid who's ready, and giving them the push they need.

        Who we are

For decades, we've helped students discover their potential

Envision runs experiential learning programs for students from elementary school through high school, having served more than 800,000 students since 1985. Every program is built around one idea: students grow the most when they're doing, not just listening.

Envision is part of WorldStrides, the country's largest provider of educational travel, trusted by families and schools since 1967. That means every program you nominate a student for is backed by decades of experience getting kids out into the world safely.

        Your student's safety comes first

Every program is staffed by carefully screened advisors, held to strict supervision ratios as tight as 8 to 1, and supported by 24/7 on-call access for families. Nightly room checks, background-checked staff, and health and safety protocols built with our medical advisory team keep students safe from the moment they arrive to the moment they're back home.

        Frequently Asked Questions

        The Nomination Process

        Who should I nominate?

Our goal is to fill our programs with students who represent a variety of backgrounds and possess a broad range of strengths, interests, and goals. All our students contribute in their own unique ways to the depth and breadth of the experience.

When considering students for nomination, think about those who:

        • Merit special recognition based on academic promise, aspirations, and leadership potential
        • Can meet the challenges of the program’s rigorous curriculum
        • Will be mature and confident contributors to group and program activities
        How can I nominate students?

Click here to nominate your students today. Our 2-step process is easy and quick. First, you’ll need to create your educator profile and then you will be able to enter the necessary details about your nominees.

I received a nomination package in the mail. How did you get my name?

We are always on the lookout for quality educators to join our nominating team. At our programs, students have an opportunity to identify educators who have been a special inspiration to them and who they think would be interested in nominating students. We also ask educators who have previously nominated to recommend colleagues who would like to learn more about our programs.

Is there a cost to nominate my students?

No, nominating students is completely free of charge.

I didn’t receive a physical nomination package (or it was misplaced). How can I nominate my students?

You can easily submit your nominations online through the Educator Portal. You will just need to create your Educator profile. If you need program brochures or additional information emailed to you, please contact our team.

I don't remember my Nominator ID. What should I do?

No problem! Please contact our support team with your full name and email address, and we will be happy to look up your ID for you.

I received two different packages with two different IDs. Which one should I use?

We recommend using the older ID, as it likely contains your historical data. Please reach out to us so we can deactivate the duplicate account and ensure you only receive correspondence to a single profile.

I already submitted nominations. Can I add more?

Absolutely! You can continue to submit nominations for our Summer 2027 programs until May. Any nominations submitted after May will automatically be considered for the Summer 2028 programs.

Can I nominate high school seniors (12th graders)?

Yes, but please ensure that any nominated seniors will be no more than 18 years old at the time of the program and that they will not have begun attending any college courses before the program starts.

I changed the grade level I teach. Can I still nominate my new students?

Yes! We offer a variety of programs tailored for students from 3rd all the way to 12th grade. Please update your account with your new grade level so we can send you the most relevant program information.

I am trying to nominate online, but I can’t see my student's current grade or the program options. What’s wrong?

To view the available programs, you must first select the student's current grade from the dropdown menu. Once the grade is selected, the corresponding program options will appear. If you continue to experience website issues, try using a different web browser, or submit your nominations via mail or fax.

If I nominate, how can I be sure my students’ information is safe?

Your nominees’ information is stored securely and is never shared. For more than 30 years, we have recognized students across the nation, and we maintain a strict, comprehensive privacy policy.

How does Envision benefit my students?

Students leave Envision programs with a clearer sense of purpose and direction. They build leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills—qualities that colleges and employers value. Many also earn college credit or receive a Certificate of Completion to enhance their resumes.

        After You Nominate

How long does it take for my students to receive their invitations?

It typically takes 4 to 6 weeks for students to receive their invitations by mail. (Note: If you submitted your nominations via fax, the processing time is approximately 6 to 8 weeks).

Why have only some of my students received their invitations so far?

Delivery times can vary. If several weeks have passed and a student still hasn't received their physical invitation, we can send them a digital invitation. We just need the student's (or parent's) email address to proceed.

I nominated students yesterday, but I don't see them in my Educator Portal. Why?

It can take up to 48 hours for new nominations to process and become visible in your portal.

I realized I made a typo in a student's name. How can I fix this?

Please contact our support team, and we will promptly update the student's record in our system.

How can my students or their parents contact you with questions?

They are welcome to call our Admissions team at 866-858-5323.

I submitted my nominations. What happens next?

Thank you for nominating! Your part is done. We will directly contact the students you nominated to send them their official invitations. Our Admissions team will then guide the students and their families through the enrollment process.

        Tuition, Scholarships, & Financial Assistance

Do you offer scholarships? How much do they cover?

Yes, we offer partial scholarships ranging from $250 to $750, which can cover up to 30% of the total tuition cost. Please note that scholarships do not cover the initial $499 enrollment deposit.

How do students apply for scholarships, and how are they awarded?

Students can apply through our online application portal. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of financial need, academic performance, and extracurricular involvement. The application requires details about the family’s financial situation, the student's activities, and a 300 to 500-word essay.

What is the scholarship essay about?

The assignment depends on the specific program. For example, a STEM program essay might ask: "Describe a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math that you would like to learn more about. What excites you about this career, and what do you think it takes to be successful in it?"

        What are the scholarship deadlines?

There are multiple deadlines throughout the year! For our Summer 2026 programs, there is generally a scholarship deadline every month (usually falling on the second-to-last or last Wednesday of the month). If a student misses one deadline, they might be able to apply for the next one.

Are there any other grants or discounts available?

Yes. We offer an Alumni Grant (10% off tuition) for returning students, and a Sibling Discount ($200 off residential programs; $100 off day programs).

Are the programs free, or is there a cost?

All of our programs are tuition-based. The exact price varies depending on the specific program, the location, and whether it is a residential or day program. However, we offer scholarships and provide fundraising resources to help families manage the cost. (Note: The tuition cost does include the initial deposit fee).

        Educator Opportunities & Involvement

How can I apply to become Summer Staff?

Being part of our summer program staff is a highly valuable experience! Meals are provided during your shifts, and staff members are assigned to locations convenient to them. Interested teachers must complete a series of evaluations to ensure alignment with our program standards. To express interest and begin the process, please contact our team with your full name, email address, and phone number.

Is there a reward system for teachers who nominate students?

We do not currently have a formal reward system in place, though we are actively exploring ways to acknowledge and support educators in the near future. We truly value and appreciate educators like you who help connect students with these life-changing learning opportunities!

Can I attend the program with my student?

At this time, teachers cannot attend the programs alongside their specific students as chaperones. However, educators are welcome to join us by applying to be Summer Staff!

        Managing Your Educator Profile

I received information addressed to a former teacher at my school. What should I do?

We need to create a unique account just for you! Please contact us or visit the Educator Profile Creation Page and provide your Prefix, First Name, Last Name, Email, and full School Address.

There is a spelling mistake in my name or title. How can I fix it?

You can correct your personal information by logging into the Educator Portal, or by contacting our team with your ID. Updates typically reflect in our system overnight.

I don't remember who I nominated last year. Can I get a list?

Yes! You can log into the Educator Portal to view your past nominations and export them as an Excel document.

I want to stop receiving marketing emails, but I still want to nominate students. Is that possible?

Absolutely. We can update your communication preferences so you no longer receive marketing emails, while keeping your account active so you can continue submitting nominations. Just contact us with your request (or your Nominator ID if you are retired and wish to be removed entirely).

I moved to a different school. How can I update my information?

You can update your school and contact information directly in the Educator Portal, or by calling our support team.
