You'll follow along with a virtual teaching veterinarian to practice square knotting, simple, and continuous suture patterns, building vital hands-on skills as you learn more about what it means to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

        Master professional suturing techniques with hands-on practice using your included suture kit. This focused 22-lesson course takes approximately 2 hours and combines virtual instruction with real-world practice. 

        To earn your Certificate of Completion, you'll need to: 

        • Pass the final quiz with 70% or higher 
        • Submit skill demonstration videos reviewed by a Loop Abroad veterinarian showing:  
        • Square knots
        • Simple interrupted suture patterns (minimum 2 complete stitches)
        • Cruciate suture patterns (minimum 2 complete stitches)
        • Continuous intradermal suture patterns (minimum 4 throws) 

        Important: This foundational training course does not license or certify you to perform suturing on animals—it's designed as educational preparation for veterinary school.
