There are countless ways to add your voice to the conversation and make a difference in our society. Here are ways to get involved in supporting anti-racism and civil change, plus some additional diversity initiatives. We've provided many ways that you can ignite change, and even the smallest step you take is a step in the direction we need to be going.
Participate in Our Government
Vote
Using your voice to direct your local government officials is a powerful way to enact change. Register to vote in your area's next election. We know many of our alumni and participants are too young to vote, but it is equally as important to understand why voting is important, why it's harder for some to register, and why it's important to register as soon as you are able.
Write to Your Local Officials
Elections are only so often, but your current elected officials are responsible for representing your community's interest. You can call or write your House Representative, Senator or even your local officials.
Sign a Petition
Voices that come together for the same outcome have a lot of power. Signing a petition lets others know your stand and is a quick way to support equality and social justice. Below are sites for petitions for different causes related to diversity and inclusion, and you can also do your own research for other petitions you want to sign for social change.

Donate
You can also support racial and gender equality by donating to organizations that support and work towards social change. Below are a few sites where you can donate for different causes. This list isn't all inclusive, so you can certainly search for other groups you want to support. No matter where you choose to donate do your research before donating to ensure the organization is legitimate and not a scam.

Join Together
Many organizations have local chapters that you can join to support your community, volunteer for a cause, and find others that want to help push social change. You can find out more about your local organizations by searching for national chapters and getting information on their websites.
