Dr. Stephen Gessner provides Envision with global education expertise, serving as an advisor on building 21st century global skills into Envision programs and developing curriculum for international students. He is a popular guest speaker, empowering students to make the most out of school, college and career experiences.

An experienced educator, administrator, teacher, clinician and researcher specializing in gifted and talented programs and international education, Gessner is also the co-founder and president of The Council for International Culture and Education (CICE) and has held positions of leadership at the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS), the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) and the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Gessner has been published in a number of notable publications including Education Week and the Stanford Law and Policy Review. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College, majoring in English literature, and holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Chicago.
