Q&A with Valeria

• You are a two-time alumna. How did you find our program initially?
  Last year, one of my teachers nominated me to NYLF: Explore STEM. He told me how it could open my eyes and help me see what kind of career I wanted to pursue. Because of my nomination and his recommendation, I attended to NYLF: Explore STEM in Chicago.
• What was the most important/interesting thing that you learned while attending NYLF Engineering & Technology?
  This year, I decided to go to the NYLF: Engineering and Technology session in Atlanta, Georgia. I learned a lot of things in this camp, but I think the most important thing that I learned was the leadership skills.
  
• What part of your NYLF Engineering & Technology experience did you enjoy most?
  Apart from learning, I met people all across the world. I know that by attending this program it will broaden my chances of getting a huge opportunity since this program teaches us, teenagers, the fundamentals of engineering.
  
• What would you tell other students who are interested in attending an Envision program?
  I definitely recommend for other students to go to this program because all your questions about careers in engineering and technology are answered. Plus you get to make new friends that are scattered across the United States and the rest of the world.
  
• Do you feel that attending NYLF Engineering & Technology will impact your career goals?
  Attending this program has been one of the best choices that I have made, and has given me a nice push to a successful future career.
