Grades 6–8: Paul Revere

Bring History to Life in Your Classroom
Marking the anniversary of Paul Revere’s famous ride and the beginning of the Revolutionary War at Lexington and Concord, we are excited to share a couple of excerpts and an activity from the scholar journal students will use at JrNYLC Alumni this summer.  The excerpts take students on a journey to the Paul Revere House and the battles of Lexington and Concord. The Paul Revere Activity provides information and comprehension questions about “the other rider” who, like Paul Revere, delivered messages about the Redcoats’ arrival.

Use these valuable tools to start a conversation with your students about the beginning of the Revolutionary War.
