"Few experiences in my life have affected, directed, and helped define me to the same extent as the days I spent at NYLF Medicine. Although I learned a lot about medicine
there, I learned far more about myself. Being in that environment with so many other bright and passionate students and working with the tremendous faculty advisors was such an incredible experience. I never expected it to impact my life as much as it did."

"My son Kade thought that the program was excellent and one of the best he has attended. He got the opportunity to work with colleagues on a project to assist communities in other countries; he gained a wealth of information from great speakers; he visited universities [that] he is very interested in; and overall he gained a wealth of leadership skills. He returned home excited and ready to put into practice some of the things he learned. I believe the program was a success. Thank you."

"I loved the forum! I learned so much about the field of National Security. I learned how to develop a security strategy and how to deal with a crisis simulation. I was able to hear from many people with careers in the field and hear about their jobs. Visiting the monuments and museums also allowed me to see some of our nation's landmarks. One of the greatest gifts that I received from the forum was being able to meet some of the greatest people. I made so many friends that I continue to stay in contact with."
Tufts school of medicine was fantastic!! Getting hands on experience here at #NYLFMed!!

The opportunity to travel to Australia with Envision was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I could go on about how much I learned about international business and culture because the speakers were great and the places we got to see were amazing. The trip opened my eyes to think in a more global perspective. - Ashley S.

"NYLF Medicine was an initial step in thinking about what to study in college and where a
science degree could take me. The program allowed medicine to be seen as something
challenging but fun, instead of daunting and impossible."
