We love Graphite as a tool to search for the best classroom app. We also have a few favorites that help you meet Common Core State Standards, engage students in the classroom, or prepare them for their next test. (These four apps are free but may offer premium services.)
Socrative is a student response system that has one app for teachers and one for students. It is available on all platforms, including web based. This app performs best when each student has his or her own device.
